The Verona Rescue Squad will be holding its second blood drive for 2010 on Thursday, April 1 from 3 to 8 p.m. at its building at 12 Church Street. Anyone who donates will get a $20 gas card for free. While walk-in donors are welcome, the VRS is asking people to register for an appointment. You can do that either online at The Blood Center of New Jersey or call the VRS at 973-857-4760. Leave a message and a member of the squad will contact you for more information. Details on donating can be found on the Blood Center’s Web site.
