MyVeronaNJ-RestaurantThe Junior Women’s Club of Verona is inviting residents to dinner at the Chili’s restaurant up Route 23 in Riverdale on Tuesday, March 30. Diners will get a break from cooking, enjoy a night out with neighbors, and help Verona’s needy families in the process.

Chili’s has agreed to donate 10 percent of the proceeds from Verona patrons that evening back to the Junior Women’s Club. It plans to use that money to support its Adopt-A-Family Meal program,  which provides meals, in the form of grocery store gift cards, to Verona families in need.  “Many families in our town have been hit hard during this recent economic crisis,” says Joanna Breitenbach of the Junior Women’s Club. “The Juniors are committed to helping them. The more people we can get there, the more money we can raise.”[mappress]
