Make A Bonnet For Easter

MyVeronaNJ-Easter-BonnetWhen I was a kid, my mom always made sure my sisters and I had a new hat for Easter. Sometimes that meant an adventurous trip to “the City” to get supplies in the Hat District. Sometimes (like the infamous yellow hats), they were creations better left forgotten. But making them was always a lot of fun.

If you want to start an Easter bonnet tradition in your house, you might want to go to the Episcopal Church of the Holy Spirit on Saturday, March 27 from 1-3 p.m. Bring a basic hat and $5 and the church will supply the flowers, ribbons and other decorations. Please call the church at 973-239-2850 for more details.
