Be A Geesepeace Volunteer

MyVeronaNJ-Canada-GeeseEssex County is offering two, free workshops to teach residents and municipal officials how to curb the Canada goose population here safely and humanely. Dubbed “Geesepeace”, the program will train participants in humane methods to reduce births in the flocks and how to interact safely with geese. Both sessions will be held on Wednesday, March 24, at the Essex County Environmental Center in Roseland. The first will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. ; the second will be  7 to 9 p.m. For more information or to register, call the Essex County Environmental Center at 973-228-8776.
