MyVeronaNJ-Music-TogetherTo celebrate Sing With Your Child Month 2010, Music Together is creating a music video montage of its signature “Hello Song” from clips submitted by families from around the world.

The company is inviting people to record themselves or their family singing the “Hello Song” and send it in for posting on YouTube. When you submit your video, you can also enter to win a free semester of Music Together classes at the location of your choice, including the company’s local affiliate–Music Together of Verona , West Orange, the Caldwells and Fairfield. If you’re going to participate, you better get singing: All submissions are due by March 10.

Not familiar with a Music Together class? According to Holly Whitmore Denton, owner of the local affiliate, the program brings together small groups of children and their caregivers for 45 minutes of songs, chants, movement activities, and instrumental jam sessions. Don’t know the “Hello Song”? You can take your cues from the videos already on YouTube. Denton’s Music Together holds its classes at several locations around our area; you can find out about all locations and class schedules, and register online here.
