UPDATE: The National Weather Service issued an alert at 7:54 p.m. for icy roads in our area.
The snow storm that was only supposed to effect south Jersey seems to be shifting course a bit.
While the National Weather Service advisory remains in affect for the tip of New Jersey and the southern Atlantic coast. But it also recently posted a “special weather statement” for western New Jersey from Mercer through Sussex counties. Weather.com is also predicting snow in our area. The snow is expected to start around 7 p.m. tonight and continue through tomorrow morning, but the NWS expects accumulation to be light.
We hope Verona’s sanders will be standing by for the Wednesday morning commute. But it might be smart to plan on extra travel time, or on having the kids walk to school.
