Mayor’s Charity Event Set For May 23

MyVeronaNJ-Mayors-Charity-BallMayor Teena Schwartz has announced that the honorees for the 17th annual Verona Mayor’s Charity Affair will be former town council member Santi Condorelli, real estate and scout leader Steve Janett, unofficial Verona historian and Hilltop conservation advocate Kurt Landsberger, special education advocate C.H.I.L.D., Investors Savings Bank and the Verona Environmental Commission.

This year’s charity affair will be a brunch instead of an evening affair. It will be held on Sunday, May 23 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Mayfair Farms, 481 Eagle Rock Avenue in West Orange. Cost of the brunch is $75 per person.

The Mayor’s Charity Affair raises funds that are to be donated to Verona organizations and programs that reach all residents. The recipients are determined by the mayor and her committee.
