West Orange Mayor John McKeon made his version of a state of the union speech today and said the town will gain several tax-generating projects in 2010, including a Starwood Hotel in the Essex Green Shopping Center. According to The Star Ledger, McKeon also expects West Orange will finally break ground on a long-planned redevelopment of the Edison Battery Factory building downtown that will include retail space, a parking deck and condominiums .
