Verona Park Lake opened for skating and the ice is as smooth as lake ice ever gets and fabulous. About a third of the main lake is marked off for skating, from the boathouse to the Lakeside side of the lake. Verona Park Lake is open for skating every day except Sunday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday the boathouse closes at 8 p.m.
