Sharpen Those Skates!

my-veronanj-iceskate 006Yes, off in the distance there are the barriers that go up on Verona Park Lake when ice skating is about to begin. They were put out on the ice today, which can mean only one thing: Get your skates ready to go. The barriers are pretty far across the lake, so we could be looking at some of the best skating in years. We’ll flash the words GO SKATING on this site as soon as we get the word that the lake is open.

And when the skating sign is posted, look for Virginia and me on the ice. We’ll be the ones with the video cameras recording all the fun.
