myVeronaNJ-125x125v1Many of you have been asking us when you could begin to advertise with MyVeronaNJ. You may have a new product or service to advertise, a piece of furniture to sell or a garage sale you’re planning. The answer is: Now.

Over the weekend, we added a Classified Advertising section to the site, and it is completely self-serve, right down to a secure online payments system. And, at $20 for a 30-day listing without photos or $40 with up to four photos, it’s a bargain. Here’s how you can put your ad in front of all the people who are reading us every day.

Go to the Classified Advertising page and click the green button that says Place Ad. Fill in all the information about you and the product or service you’re selling. (If you don’t have a Web site to link to you can skip that field.) We’ve given you plenty of space to add in all the details, and the system keeps track of how much room you have left as you type. You’ll also have to do a bit of math at the bottom of the page to prove that you’re a human and not some crazy computer trying to spam our readers. If you’re going to add photos, the system will prompt you to put them in. Then click on the PayPal button, to pay us through your PayPal account or by credit card. The system notifies us about your listing and payment and, as soon as both are in order, your listing will be live on the site.

Any questions? Just shoot us an e-mail. We’ll be adding a system for display ads soon. In the meantime, if you have to have a button ad immediately, just contact Virginia.

Not sure if this whole Internet advertising thing makes sense for you? Contact us and we’ll give you all the details about how many people are on our site every day and how much time they spend here.
