At its meeting tonight, the Verona Town Council approved a resolution that will offer some relief to the owners of the two houses damaged in recent fires. The assessments on the houses, located at 40 Kenwood Avenue and 6 Woodland Avenue, will revert to land only, from land and buildings, and the sewer charges at both will be suspended.
