Our never-ending merry-go-round through the streets of Verona has been merrier than usual these dark evenings thanks to the many cheerful seasonal light displays. In our admittedly biased opinion, Verona has the best and brightest holiday lights around. So we decided to showcase a few that caught our eye.

We originally thought we’d post 10, but since there were many worthy candidates we boosted that number to 20. Alas, our attempt to add slideshow software to the site hasn’t yet been successful, so we’ve put the whole group on our Facebook page, where you can also upload your favorite holiday lights photo if you’re already a fan.

Tell us your three favorites in the comment field; we’ll tally the votes and announce the winner on New Year’s Eve. Here’s to the best of the brightest!
